      Verdict

      Kingscombe won here in November but has reverted to type since then and Mazovian remains badly out of form. Both Lexington Bay and Layline make more appeal returning to 2m but Samtu was a well beaten second over 1m6f here a fortnight ago. Rock Of Ages won over track and trip last month before a spin over hurdles but this is tougher and KATIE GALE is preferred. She will have come on for last week's reappearance over too short a trip and the previous course and distance winner should go close for Mike Appleby's in-form yard.
