Verdict

This is a bit of a non-event as KABBAAS is impossible to oppose despite having his first start on the Fibresand. Today's opposition is so poor that Roger Varian's charge can afford to run way below the form of his debut second at Lingfield and still come out best. Dr Victoria was beaten nine lengths here in November but Big City Boy didn't do too badly when leading for a long way on his return from a long break at Wolverhampton on Friday. Elusive has shown nothing to date and Quintain may prove a bigger threat on his debut on the Flat though he's been well beaten in bumpers and over hurdles.
