Verdict

It could pay to concentrate on the previous course and distance winners. General Tufto is one of those but has been out of sorts for a few months now while Layla's Boy has been thereabouts without being good enough to win since scoring here last summer. MASLAK showed the benefit of a reappearance run when finishing second at Lingfield last week and back on a winning mark, Peter Hiatt's charge gets the nod. Revolving World didn't do too badly when fourth here during the week and looks best of the rest.
