        Verdict

        A strange race in which the bottom nine are 1lb out of the handicap, though that shouldn't have much bearing on the outcome. Monte Cassino is one of those carrying his correct weight and scored over 6f here last month. He wears an eyeshield for the first time after a less-than-convincing display on his only subsequent start and this will be his first attempt beyond 6f. JONNIE SKULL has been very busy since scoring at Wolverhampton in September and hasn't distinguished himself but he's dropped in the weights accordingly and is given an obvious chance to get back on the winning trail in this very lowly grade. Kheskianto has failed to win in 39 starts on Turf but her only success came over this C&D and she will have needed her recent run after a break. Milton Of Campsie finshed last of 19 on her latest start at Redcar on November but she's dropped so far in the weights that she must also be considered.
