Verdict

WICKED SPIRIT's ability to handle Fibresand has to be taken on trust after making all at Wolverhampton on her reappearance. Daryl Byrne's claim negates most of a penalty and Mark Johnston's filly is taken to follow up. Dorset Square has claims on his Flat form in Ireland but has shown nothing over hurdles of late while the unpredictable Carnac posted one of his poorer efforts last time having scored over C&D before that. Rory Boy is a bumper winner on the Fibresand, however, and Rajeh has been given a chance by the handicapper racing off a much lower mark than when placed at Newmarket last summer.
