Verdict

Doctor Dennis gets the vote here with Show Me The Lolly and Lake Wakatipu rating the main dangers, The selection has been in the form of his life of late winning his last two races and although he is rising in the weights he looks a progressive type and he is taken to win again from the plot draw. Show Me The Lolly rates the main danger on his latest second behind Granary Girl but all his best form is over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Lake Wakatipu is another worthy of respect on his latest fourth behind Scotland The Brave. That form has since been franked and if he acts on the surface he will not be far away. Sharoura has dropped to a handy mark and is from a shrewd yard so should be noted in the market but his over all profile leaves him with a little to find. Of the remainder Pawn In Life is another that is well weighted on his best form and goes well at the track but he has shown very little of late and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Doctor Dennis who at least is in form.
