Verdict

Demora ended last season with a double and went close on her only start at this track earlier. Silken Express also finished runner-up here on her debut but MATA HARI BLUE has the more recent form. The latter sluiced up by six lengths over track and trip last month and Mike Appleby's mare is worth sticking with in that sort of form despite an 8lb rise. Six Wives and Wicked Wench are both course and distance winners tumbling down the handicap and any support in the betting would indicate a return to form is expected.
