Verdict

Smart Affair scored over a longer trip here last month but is also a C&D winner so could get involved. The inconsistent Applaude won over track and trip on one of his better days but multiple course winner Orpen Wide remains out of sorts. GERONIMO CHIEF ran out of steam in the latter stages of his return from over a year on the sidelines when fifth at Wolverhampton. The C&D winner is back on a winning mark and can get his head back in front in this.
