Verdict

A modest affair in which HEATHYARDS PRIDE is expected to triumph at the expense of Trojan Reef and Rebellious Spirit. The ten-year-old is ideal for plating contests these days and as a previous course winner, there are no issues with the fibresand. Trojan Reef ran in two bumpers and now reverts to taking on his rivals on the flat proper. The market is accordingly checked. Rebellious Spirit is surprisingly stepped up in trip having flopped over shorter. Country Road had placed form in maidens for Peter Chapple-Hyam and is now in the care of Mick Easterby. Fromthebeginning was beaten in a plating affair at Lingfield and all hopes rely upon him being able to adapt to this surface. Cragganmore Creek is a regular around here though should not be good enough on official BHA figures. Heathyards Pride is the pick.
