        Verdict

        The yard of Karl Burke is starting to hit top gear and so Sunken Rags has to be followed here, Bentley and Shepherdess look to be the main rivals. The selection has been running well in sellers at Wolverhampton and is making her handicap debut this afternoon. She gets in here on a very fair mark and must go close in handling this different surface. Bentley has put in too very good performances over the six furlong trip, on both occasions tiring at the furlong pole. The drop to minumum looks a good move and a big run is expected. Shepherdess is another making her Southwell debut after showing very good form at the other all-weather tracks. Off her current mark she is entitled to go well. Peter Grayson has his string in fine fettle and so Head To Head is another worthy of a mention, however Sunken Rags looks the pick of the weights this afternoon and she gets our vote.
