In depth

Verdict

It was soft ground at Wetherby when SHOULDAVBOUGHTGOLD narrowly missed out on opening his account over fences. He was beaten a head by Clondaw Flicka and can go one better in this. Off The Wall made a promising start over fences when third at Ffos Las in testing going and should be in the mix, but What A Good Night has failed to complete in a couple of subsequent starts since landing his chasing bow at Stratford. High Ron's earlier second at Uttoxeter came on fast ground and Old Way is hard to fancy.
