In depth

Verdict

Indian's Feather looks a fair betting proposition and is selected in preference to Amorist and Sawwaah. The last named has been kept very busy of late and is very well treated on the pick of his past ratings. However, he has lost a touch of his old sparkle and, as his best recent efforts have been in selling grade, he may struggle against these old handicappers. Amorist - a former inmate of Sir Mark Prescott's - returns from a break and has to enter calculations. He is a dual course winner and has nothing to fear about the trip. However, he is a lot higher in the weights this year and, as his jumping exploits were nothing to write home about, this may be something of an experiment to rekindle his enthusiasm. Therefore, we go with Indian's Feather, who is holding her form really well just now and this one-time Listed race contender makes the most appeal for a bet in a race full of ifs and buts.
