Verdict

Calaf was placed at Epsom a fortnight ago and drops back in trip for his all-weather debut. The son of Dubai Destination should handle the surface, but so should YORK GLORY. Placed in both starts on Polytrack, Kevin Ryan's charge is related to dirt winners in America and gets the vote to open his account. Dr Red Eye was runner-up here in March and can figure, while El Maachi has claims if taking to the Fibresand. On The Lash could prove best of the newcomers.
