Verdict

DE LESSEPS never recovered from a tardy start here last time though was staying on at the finish. He'd earlier scored over track and trip and, with winning form hard to come by in this contest, James Moffat's charge gets the vote on that basis. The veteran Elusive Warrior is a rare winner nowadays and Fast On makes more appeal on his earlier second over course and distance. Mucky Molly finished ahead of Very First Blade when third over 6f here three weeks ago and may prove best of the rest in a pretty poor handicap.
