Verdict

This is a bit more competitive than most races of its kind though complicated by Hittin'the Skids presence. She was engaged to run at yesterday's meeting here and would carry a double penalty if winning on Thursday. Basle is generally consistent and gained her due reward at Lingfield. She should get involved along with Lindoro, who runs the track well though both all-weather victories have come on Fibresand. Hinton Admiral has won 16 races from 74 starts and is now on his lowest ever mark so has to be respected but NORTH CENTRAL is just 2lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield in November and Ruth Carr's C&D winner gets the nod dropped in class.
