Verdict

Plenty of these have questions to answer but Royal Riviera is probably better than he showed at Exeter last month and has won off higher marks over hurdles. TROZULON struggled for pace over timber but this should be more his cup of tea. He'll have had plenty of schooling and, from a yard still going great guns, can make a winning start over the larger obstacles as Farbreaga was struggling when falling at Towcester in December and Stagecoach Jasper's second at Bangor around this time last year was obviously a fluke.
