Verdict

Hi Tide is 9lb higher than when scoring over fences at Fakeham in November but won over these hurdles last summer. Samoset has been raised 8lb for finishing second at Market Rasen while Northern Meeting has gone close on fast ground on a couple of occasions before but has not raced for over a year now. WATT BRODERICK had an off-day at Bangor last time but was beaten only three lengths when placed at Fontwell last month in a higher grade handicap than this. He should go close with a similar effort today.
