Verdict

BANTAM has a penalty to overcome but has little to fear from most of these. Henry Daly's mare scored easily at Wincanton three weeks ago and will likely start a short price once again. Via Volupta looks the biggest threat on her promising start over hurdles at Warwick when runner-up to Surtees Du Berlais given the dual bumper winner Chilly Miss was well beaten on her hurdling bow at Wetherby. Tea In Transvaal was placed at Warwick back in January but something went amiss when pulled-up at Chepstow last time.
