GOBLIN may be able to get the better of the remarkable veterans Cumbrian Knight and York Cliff. Don Cantillon has a decent record when employing the services of Simon Walker and if the selection attracts market support then take heed. Goblin missed the whole of 2007 and is entitled to have needed the two runs that he had at Great Leighs last month. He's proven on the track, well handicapped on his old form and will relish the longer trip. Cumbrian Knight maintained his unbeaten track record with a three quarters of a length defeat of York Cliff and both have sound claims under pilot's that know their mounts well. Zaffeu has plenty of course form to his name and may have needed the run last month so could improve on that whilst Stravita won well last time and should go close if seeing out this longer trip. This is competitive but Goblin may be able to roll back the years.
