Verdict

Well beaten on his first six starts, BOOGIE STAR left that form behind to win over C&D on his Fibresand debut. Stan Moore's charge can follow up in similar company now he's found his niche. Ad Vitam is closely matched with the selection on form elsewhere but ran poorly here on his penultimate start and Blade Pirate will need to take to this surface, as well as first-time eye-shields, if he's to go close. Double Duchess made a modest debut at Wolverhampton and may need further to show her best.
