In depth

Verdict

GRA GEAL MO CHROI won this a year ago when it was run a little later in the month and can complete the double. She loves soft ground and this trip as she proved when landing a Roscommon handicap last week and has a fitness advantage over main danger Buccaneer Bob, who hasn't been seen since December. His only success came on fast ground at Navan and he's yet to encounter soft going. Binocular probably needs further than this as his last success came over 1m6f at Killarney in August while a similar remark applies to Ionisphere, who scored over 2m1f at Clonmel last month and has had a run over fences subsequently. Invincible Soul has his first start for Tony Mullins but was in poor form when last seen running for Richard Hannon, albeit in much better company.
