Verdict

Keith Donoghue has been making a name for himself and was on board when BONDAGE produced his first real sign of form over hurdles at Bellewstown when runner-up to Brian Who. With further progress likely the five-times Flat winner can gain his first success over timber. Garryowen Oscar landed a maiden over the C&D last August but hasn't shown much since but Substitute is capable of a big run despite his weight as he ran very well behind Mister Benedictine at Kilbeggan last month and will love the soft conditions. Black Rock Lake has also been going well though his best form to date has been on much quicker ground than he's likely to face here. Dizzy Rascal landed a maiden at Thurles in April but a strike-rate of 1-33 hardly inspires confidence and Acriveen seems better over further. Obsession was in touch when unseating his rider at the last at Downpatrick on Friday and can get involved if none the worse.
