Verdict

Star For Life ran his best race on soft ground at Killarney in May and could have found the going too quick on later starts. Our Maimie ran reasonably well in two starts over hurdles so it was a surprise when she reverted to a bumper last month and she was well beaten. Carrow Queen won a Ballinrobe bumper in May and has some experience over timber while Scarlet Prince, twice a winner on the level in the UK, did a bit better over hurdles last time. Cheyenne Girl only looks moderate on what she's shown to date so, in a poor contest, a chance is taken on STILLWATER COVE showing improvement as he's shown a modicum of ability and still has the scope to do better.
