    Verdict

Hotgrove Boy claimed his second win over these fences last month but looked a somewhat fortunate winner when Gin Cobbler made a mess of the last fence and surrendered the lead. The latter made amends at Southwell afterwards and should go well again. Sleep In First has lost his form since rattling-up a hat-trick over hurdles last year and Pamak D'Airy has been well beaten of late having won at Newcastle in December. That leaves us with GREY LIFE, up in class last time having scored at Carlisle before that and taken to resume winning ways back in the same grade.
