Verdict

JEU DE ROSEAU has been doing well on the Flat since last seen and with no question marks about his health gets the vote. Chris Grant's horse is 3lbs higher than when last seen over timber but he ran a fine race to take second that day and remains unexposed at this distance. Denis O'Regan knows the horse well and providing rain stays away he's taken to beat the likes of Lady Wright and Roman History. The last-mentioned pair met here a month ago with Roman History coming out on top but he's since run just an average race on the level and a 5lb turnaround in the weights can help reverse that line of form. Heart Of Dubai ran okay in the cheek-pieces at Redcar without seemingly finding improvement but he's unexposed and needs a market check on his handicap debut while the likes of Osolomio and Goldan Jess aren't easily ignored.
