In depth

Verdict

A very good little novice chase this where the vote narrowly goes the way of MIZEN RAVEN ahead of Osolomio and Leac An Scail. The pick has been holding his form well under increasing burdens having easily landed a good handicap three starts ago. The form lines surrounding Tim Vaughan's runner are rock solid and he should go well now back in novice company. The performance of Oslomio when only beaten a neck behind the useful Sa Suffit three starts ago have him bang in the frame and Jennie Cavendish's charge has a similar race on his CV winning over course and distance in similar conditions. Leac An Scail has been solid in some decent looking handicaps of late but would probably have to find a bit more here while the only other to consider would be General Stone Hill, who took a beginners¿ chase last time out and has the scope to improve. Good stuff this and it should be close with Mizen Raven just coming out on top.
