Verdict

A race likely to produce plenty of future winners and one in which FOURJACKS can get back to winning ways. Tim Easterby's inmate looked smart when staging a rout at Hexham in November but he was never travelling on his follow-up bid at Haydock and a short break will hopefully prove to be to his advantage. Deise Dynamo was probably flattered by his winning margin at Kelso but the fact that he was backed off the boards at Wetherby suggested that failure at the West Yorkshire track was not anticipated. Anna's Arch is clearly in good heart and cannot be discounted even with the steadier of top weight. Herdsman was a very smart bumper performer for Philip Hobbs and if there is any support for him on his debut for Sue Smith it should not be ignored.
