In depth

Verdict

Canavan gets the confident vote here with Barrons Pike and Uneven Line rating the main dangers,. The selection was a fair second in a better race behind Weapons Inspector last time. That form has since been franked and with his yard continuing in good form and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Barons Pike rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Rambling Minster but the step up in trip does not looks sure to suit and for that reason he is opposed. Uneven Line is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but again he looks vulnerable off this mark.Of the remainder Matmata de Tendron was a fair third in a similar race last time and if the fitting of a first time tongue tie has the desired effect he would not be for away but Canavan sets a fair standard and he is taken to regain the winning thread.
