Verdict

Emma Lavelle's yard is struggling for winners and her Kindly Note has disappointed since finishing second at Worcester in the autumn. My Flora needs a return to fences while Zefooha is probably a few pounds too high at present but Umadachar has to go on the short-list if getting back to the form she showed when winning at Folkestone in November and recent Catterick scorer Vinetta is on an upward curve. SPARKLING HAND came good over track and trip last month, beating Matrow's Lady with Wheyaye a distant fourth. The runner-up won in a canter at Ffos Las on Sunday so the form holds up and Peter Atkinson's mare can follow up today as Phase Shift has become expensive to follow.
