tracked leaders, took keen hold, every chance 3 out, weakened before next

In depth

Verdict

Generous Chief finished less than a length ahead of George Fernbeck when third over a shorter trip at this track earlier this month. That pair could both figure again though they are hard to separate. Mootabar has a chance after a second at Hexham while Callum Bewley's allowance means Auberge can race off a lower mark than when successful at the same track last year. BIG SOUND wasn't beaten that far despite finishing only sixth at Wetherby last time. Dropped in class today, Mark Walford's charge may prove good enough and gets the vote.
