In depth

Verdict

George Woolf hadn't shown much on his first two starts over timber but did much better when landing a Newton Abbot maiden and there's more to come. KING'S CHORISTER has been going very well and was only run out of it close home by Cavite Eta at Newcastle last week. He's on the same mark here and Callum Whillans' claim should be enough for Barry Murtagh's charge to get back on the winning trail. Amir Pasha won at Catterick on New Year's Day but has run poorly on his last two starts including on the Flat and though Ugo makes his handicap debut from a low mark he hasn't shown much so far. Irish raider Makhaaleb looks to have plenty to do on what he's shown to date.
