        Verdict

        Not many bumpers take place here without a Donald McCain runner being prominent in the betting. The Cheshire handler boasts a better than one in three strike rate in similar races on the track and MASTER DEE can add to his winning tally. He could only muster the one pace when beaten at Catterick on his debut under Rules but today's easier surface should aid his cause and probably market rival, Gone Forever, had an alternative engagement at Catterick yesterday, as did stablemate Clarence Beeks. Donna's Diamond showed promise at Musselburgh and is preferred to ex-pointer Maxed Out King of the others.
