    Verdict

Despite refusing to settle, Armedanddangerous ran a promising first race when runner-up to Penny Max at Folkestone. Angel Sun finished ahead of Pekan Two and Port View on his debut over C&D two weeks ago and is open to improvement but there could be one or two likely newcomers in this. Alan Swinbank does well with his bumper horses here so Dome Run is respected, while Viscount Victor and Whistle Me have jumping pedigrees and the latter cost Trevor Hemmings £30,000 as a yearling. As a four-year-old, TURBOLINAS receives weight all round, however, and Kate Walton's only runner at the meeting may represent a bit of value in an interesting finale.
