      Verdict

SEA CLIFF gets the vote here. He won over C&D in January and conditional Ed Glassonbury negates most of his 10lb rise in the weights. Today's rival Classic Henri always looked held in second behind the selection despite being beaten only half-a-length and will do well to reverse the form on these terms, while fourth-placed Sam Patch also has a bit to find on that running. Sharadiyn's recent third at Wetherby was a return to form and he may be capable of better given he went close in this race last year, but Yes Mate probably needs a longer trip to show his best.
