In depth

Verdict

Miss Lilly Lewis won by nine lengths on her racecourse debut over 1m6f at Fontwell and should again take care of fourth-placed Theoystercatcher. My Mum Mo was beaten less than a length at Stratford last month but Wor Lass is already starting to look exposed, as is The Wicked Kipper. Izzini, Lucky Bygones and Royal Escort are all interesting newcomers who should be monitored in the betting but this could be third-time lucky for VINETTA. She couldn't quicken on the soft ground when favourite at Market Rasen in April but this going should be much more to her liking and she has a decent pedigree for a contest of this nature.
