Verdict

The Fox's Decree stayed on late when third at Newton Abbot last week but has flattered to deceive in the past. EARL GREZ has also proved expensive to follow but had recent C&D winner Tregaro behind at Southwell in August and finished ahead of Five Out Of Five on similar terms at Fontwell last month. We'll give Peter Bowen's seven-year-old a final chance here as he gets 16lb from Sparkling Tara, second over 2m6f here last time, and 14lb from Saddlers Deal. The latter is a pound lower than when winning at Southwell last November but has had his problems this year.
