In depth

Verdict

An open-looking handicap in which several appear to have decent claims. King Penda is lightly-raced over fences and could figure if lasting home while it's impossible to fault the consistency of Esme Rides A Gaine, though Chris Wilson's mare is still 4lb higher than when successful over C&D more than 12 months ago. Bubby Breeze and Mansonien L'As should be thereabouts again off their current marks but it could be worth forgiving SHULMIN her latest run over C&D when she got behind early on and lost interest. She's well handicapped now and, on ground that will suit, can reverse that form with Finbin and land this.
