GOLDIKOVA'a been done no favours by the draw but can overcome that negative to record back to back successes in this race. She may have most to fear from Justenuffhumor and Zacinto. Freddie Head's filly received a rare ill-judged ride over an inadequate trip from Olivier Peslier last time but that run is best ignored and she can resume winning ways. Her experienced pilot will need to be at his tactical best given the outside berth but she has the gears to hold a position and quicken past the leaders in the straight. A change of gear is also a weapon that Zacinto appears to be blessed with and he has rapidly made up for lost time since missing the beginning of the season. He holds Delegator on their running at Ascot and, arguably, has more scope for improvement than the Godolphin runner. Justenuffhumor was unbeaten on turf prior to his poor run in the Shadwell Mile but his trainer attributed that performance to the soft ground. In that case, it may well pay to put a line through the run and he has leading claims on his earlier form. Gladiatorus has a good record on turning tracks and goes well for Atjebi but he'll be there to be shot at throughout and could face competition for the lead from Cowboy Cal. This race should go to the Europeans and Goldikova is fancied to regain her crown.
