MORPHEUS is progressing at a rate of knots and looks capable of winning from higher marks than this. He followed his Nottingham maiden victory with a narrow success on his handicap debut at Ascot where he would have won much more easily with a clear run. Sea Shanty completed a hat-trick in the spring and has competed with distinction at a higher level in his two latest starts so it will be a surprise if he's not involved. Richard Hughes takes the ride and his mount should prove better than stablemate Beedee. So Beloved found Ascot's Britannia Handicap too much for him after his Haydock success and this is more his level but Flashlight has never won on Turf.
