    Verdict

Those with handicap form look fairly vulnerable although the three fillies entering handicap company for the first time on the back of three runs, all hailing from high-class yards, do have something to prove. All of which makes for a trappy affair, but we'll take a chance with SKI LIFT. John Gosden's filly shaped really well on debut this term when fourth to Evita Peron at Newbury but has not really built on that promise since. This additional furlong should be in her favour now and Juddmonte will be keen to notch that all-important success for paddocks value. Dianora is another whose best run was her first but Sir Michael Stoute is being patient, whilst Luca Cumani's Petticoat Lane, in contrast to the aforementioned pair, has progressed steadily in three starts but was still put in her place to the tune of 8l in a modest Yarmouth maiden the last day.
