Richard Hannon's Norisan has done little wrong so far and has to be respected but Mark Johnston looks to hold a strong hand here saddling both Drumfire and Kirklees, with marginal preference for the latter. The selection lost no caste in defeat behind the impressive Strategic Prince at Goodwood last time and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice. Caldra may want a softer surface, while Nightinshining looks to be going the right way but takes a step up in class and may not be ready for it yet. Drumfire has done little wrong in his two starts so far and is another to consider but stablemate Kirklees has an obvious chance and he gets the vote.
