Verdict

Sheikh The Reins won readily at Kempton last week but he's no certainty to follow up so we'll row in with MUFTARRES. Frank Sheridan's seven-year-old doesn't win often though he has tended to run his best races at this stage of the season and the booking of Frankie Dettori is interesting. Annes Rocket won this race last year and while Jimmy Fox's entire has to be respected, he does have to defy a 10lb higher mark on this occasion. Eastern Dragon has been lightly raced on turf so any interest in Michael Scudamore's gelding should not be ignored. Tight Fit is often well supported but her followers had their fingers burnt at Leicester. It's Taboo wasn't too far away at Newbury and Mark Usher's filly has been raised a further 2lb in the handicap for that near miss.
