      Verdict

Sacha Park lost his maiden tag in a class 6 event at Lingfield and is to be ridden by a 7lb claimer. Stars Above Me showed the benefit of her opening run by making most over 6f at Leicester and this stiff 5f should hold no terrors. Desert Ace competed in decent handicaps after a comfortable maiden success on this track and would appreciate any more rain as would Montaigne, who made a pleasing return behind Stomp at Windsor with Desert Ace close behind. Pushkin Museum won a couple of minor Polytrack handicaps before put in his place by Oriental Relation at Southwell while Flying Bear looked in need of quicker ground on his reappearance at Nottingham. Charles Molson makes his handicap debut and looks high enough in the weights so an each-way selection in an open race is ECCLESTON. Now with David O'Meara, he scored on his debut for Richard Fahey last May before ending the campaign with a fine run behind his then-stablemate Peniaphobia in the Wetherbys Super Sprint.
