Verdict

Quite a riddle for punters to decipher with our answer being HARLESTONE TIMES ahead of the more established claims of Bugaku and Yorgunnabelucky. There was nothing wrong with the latter's win in first time cheekpieces but he may just be worth opposing under a penalty in a stronger race. Bugaku has run well over this course and distance and his yard has landed this prize twice in the last three years but are finding winners unusually hard to come by at present. Captain Macarry and Dukes Art aren't certain to see out this trip and Whistleinthewind has to prove that he retains his ability and stronger claims are held by Penchesco, Flying Destination, Resurge and All The Winds who must all enter calculations but a chance is taken with the bottom weight. He does have something to prove but he did show promise in maidens as a juvenile and is bred to come into his own over middle distances this season and Harlestone Times may be able to step up to the plate on his seasonal return.
