In depth

Verdict

Looks Could Kill gets the call here ahead of Chinalea and Prince Namid. Looks Could Kill is just two pounds worse off for the near-five lengths he finished ahead of Zowington over six furlongs at Redcar last time and, although he is an exasperating character who looks as though he should have won more races, we will give him another chance to score today. Ingleton has been a little disappointing this year, although he hails from an in-form yard, while Diamond Katie remains consistent and might get amongst the money again. Chinalea was not beaten far off a one-pound lower mark at Goodwood two runs ago and a repeat of that gives him a shout. The lightly-raced Grand Show has so far fared better on the all-weather, but would have a chance on that form, while Prince Namid was not beaten that far off today's mark last time and should be on the premises. Overall, though, the vote goes to Looks Could Kill.
