Verdict

Havana Beat and NICHOLS CANYON both made their debuts at this track. The former went very close over 7f and has every chance in this but the latter looks to have the stronger form. John Gosden's colt found only stablemate Excess Knowledge, a subsequent runner-up in Listed company, too good over C&D last month and can go one better today. Restraint Of Trade looks best of the Godolphin duo and is also preferred to Unmoothaj while the newcomer Elidor is a half-brother to top-class Group 1 winner Treasure Beach and is worth noting for any support.
