In depth

Verdict

Whippy Cream was third in the Oaks Trial at Lingfield in May and also placed in a Group 2 in Milan later. But she was beaten at odds-on in a Kempton maiden last time and has become expensive to follow. EMPRESS ADELAIDE has more scope and shaped with a degree of promise when staying on into second at Chester last month. She can make it third-time lucky here ahead of the returning Kalispell and the four-year-old Running Deer. Camisole was well beaten on debut at Windsor but any market move for debutantes Mrs Micawber and Norway Cross would be worth noting.
