Verdict

Something Perfect looks certain to run her race yet again but Michael Jarvis' MY VERSE looks well treated on her handicap bow and is taken to score here with Suba another possible danger. After shaping with plenty of promise on her sole start at two, the selection duly opened her account on her reappearance at Ripon. She has been rated 75 by the assessor and has the talent to leave that mark behind. Something Perfect is a bit of a near-miss merchant having landed prize money off this mark in each of her last three starts and she looks almost certain to pay her way again here. Suba ran well off this mark last time when fourth in a big field at Goodwood. The step down in trip looks the right move and Luca Cumani's filly should feature.
