In depth

Verdict

STAGE ATTRACTION won on soft going at Chepstow around this time last year and followed up subsequently over today's C&D. He was doing his best work at the finish behind Bronze Prince on the Polytrack at Lingfield last month and can open his account for the season now. Weapon Of Choice and Sam Sharp are closely matched on their run together on heavy ground over C&D in April and both have run well since while Prince Of Sorrento has won four of his last five starts. He sluiced through the heavy ground at Yarmouth last time but is now on a career-high mark. Lowther and Leviathan could both be given a chance at the weights but have been below their best lately and more interesting is recent Doncaster fourth Karaka Jack.
