Verdict

This isn't as strong as the first division and ISHIKAWA, who has won and finished second twice in three runs at the track this summer, heads the short-list as Rob Fitzpatrick again takes off 7lb. Kickingthelilly is consistent and no slouch on Turf but better on the Polytrack while Barwick is on a winning mark but 2lb higher than when only third at Chester last month. Yojimbo rallied to score at Chepstow last month when Rocky Reef was fifth but was then well beaten behind Siouxperhero at Bath. Willie Muir's gelding also won at Leicester last month but was 13 lengths behind the selection over course and distance earlier and is now 2lb worse off. First Post was second in this last year off an 8lb higher mark and showed a bit more at Windsor last time so can't be ignored.
